Soccer Recap: Lake Highlands' Loss Ends Eight-Game Winning Streak on the Road

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lake Highlands can now relate to. They fell just short of the Coppell Cowboys by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. Lake Highlands were red-hot offensively heading into the matchup (they scored no less than four goals in the five games prior), but Coppell's defense proved too tough.

Lake Highlands' goal came courtesy of Kacy Corcoran, who's now up to nine this season.

Lake Highlands' defeat ended an eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-3-1. As for Coppell, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-2-3 record this season.

Lake Highlands does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Coppell, they have already played their next game, a 4-1 victory against Keller on the 28th.
