Soccer Recap: Capitol Hill Picks Up Third Straight Win at Home

Capitol Hill's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They never let the Putnam City Pirates get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Capitol Hill also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Capitol Hill pushed their record up to 4-5 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matchups. As for Putnam City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.
