Basketball Recap: Troy-Buchanan Comes Up Short

Troy-Buchanan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 61-49 to the Normandy Vikings. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 394th, while the Vikings are ranked 168th).

Troy-Buchanan's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Normandy, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Troy-Buchanan will face off against Howell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Normandy has already played their next contest (against Principia), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
