Chestnut Ridge came out on top against Bishop McCort on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run fourth inning. The Lions walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Crushers. The win continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Crushers: they've now won five in a row.

Chestnut Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 9-6-1. As for Bishop McCort, they now have a losing record of 8-9.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Chestnut Ridge will challenge rival Somerset at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Bishop McCort is set to face off against their familiar foe Westmont Hilltop at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday.
