Soccer Game Preview: McKinley vs. Central

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the McKinley face off against the Central at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday... Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Last Wednesday, McKinley got the win against Dunham by a conclusive 8-4. Aldo Rodriguez Medina was a massive factor in the win as he booted in five goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Central hasn't lost a match since November 13th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Thursday. Everything went their way against Franklinton as Central made off with a 6-1 victory.

Central's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1-1. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for McKinley, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

McKinley skirted past Central 3-2 in their previous meeting back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for McKinley since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
