With a playoff win on the line, West De Pere rose to the challenge on Friday. In a tight game that could have gone either way, they made off with a 35-34 victory over the Homestead Highlanders. The Phantoms' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

West De Pere's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ryan Lutz, who rushed for 135 yards and two TDs while picking up 7.5 yards per carry. Lutz's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 104 rushing yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Patrick Greisen, who threw for 235 yards and three touchdowns.

West De Pere's record now sits at 13-0. As for Homestead, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 12-1.

Looking ahead, West De Pere will square off against Notre Dame Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. That contest will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Lutz and Kingston Allen. Homestead does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
