Baseball Recap: College Prep Cougars vs. Redwood Christian Eagles
College Prep had lost ten straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 4-8 to make it 11. They fell just short of the Redwood Christian Eagles by a score of 4-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 20-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.
College Prep saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gardner Rees, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles and one run.
As for Redwood Christian, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-8-1. That's two games straight that they have won by exactly two runs.
