Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Maclay walked away with it. They were the clear victor by a 9-1 margin over the Port St. Joe Tiger Sharks on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Marauders, who have now won six matchups by four goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Port St. Joe from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Maggie Bragg led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Maclay has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 40 goals over those ten contests. As for Port St. Joe, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-12-1 record this season.
