Basketball Recap: Granite Hills Takes a Loss

Granite Hills lost against Silverado on January 8th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Granite Hills Cougars had to suffer through a 69-35 loss at the hands of the Silverado Hawks. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1030th, while the Hawks are ranked 442nd).

Granite Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Silverado, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Granite Hills has already played their next match (against Adelanto), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Silverado will square off against Fontana at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
