Basketball Game Preview: Coupeville Wolves vs. Auburn Adventist Falcons

The Coupeville Wolves will venture away from home to challenge the Auburn Adventist Falcons at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Coupeville took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They strolled past Orcas Island with points to spare, taking the game 57-40. The victory continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Auburn Adventist didn't have too much trouble with Friday Harbor on Tuesday as they won 71-57.

Auburn Adventist has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.8 points over those games. As for Coupeville, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-13.
