Newfound Regional had to endure a five-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on the Mascoma Royals with a sharp 3-0 win on Monday. The Bears have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Royals, too.

Newfound Regional's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Mascoma, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Newfound Regional is set to challenge their familiar foe Sunapee at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Mascoma will square off against rival Epping at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
