Soccer Recap: Pajaro Valley Comes Up Short

There was early excitement for Pajaro Valley after they claimed the first goal on Wednesday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the King City Mustangs by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Grizzlies of the 4-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Pajaro Valley's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 0-1-3 and their overall record down to 1-6-5. As for King City, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 3-3-3 record this season.

Pajaro Valley will square off against Palma at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Pajaro Valley's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for King City, they will head out to square off against Stevenson at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
