Volleyball Recap: Las Vegas Wildcats vs. Silverado Skyhawks
Las Vegas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Silverado Skyhawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.
Troy Mangum paced Las Vegas' offense, picking up six kills. Mangum got some help from Frisky Palo and his eight assists. Palo was also solid from the service line: he led the team with four aces.
Las Vegas' defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.
Las Vegas didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon on the 1st. As for Silverado, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Green Valley on the 1st.
