Baseball Game Preview: Gresham Gophers vs. Clackamas Cavaliers

Gresham is 2-8 against Clackamas since April of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Gophers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Cavaliers at 5:00 p.m.

Gresham came up short against Barlow on Tuesday, falling 10-2.

Meanwhile, Clackamas came tearing into Tuesday's game with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Nelson a 6-0 shutout. Considering the Cavaliers have won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Gresham's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Clackamas, their win bumped their record up to 15-3.
