Soccer Recap: Booker T. Washington Wins Going Away Against West Florida

After failing to score in their last contest, Booker T. Washington made sure to put some goals up on the board against West Florida on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the West Florida Jaguars with a sharp 7-0 win. Considering the Wildcats' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

They hit West Florida with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Emerson Delamare (3), Adelyn Carpenter (2), CariAnn Allen, and Tyler Dana.

Booker T. Washington's victory bumped their record up to 3-7-2. As for West Florida, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9-1.

Booker T. Washington wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Rocky Bayou Christian on the 9th. As for West Florida, they will head out on the road to square off against Mosley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mosley's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
