Basketball Recap: Atlantic Comes Up Short

Atlantic lost to Royal Palm Beach back in November of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Eagles received a blow as they fell 41-27 to the Wildcats. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Atlantic lost, don't look at Taylor Pierre. Despite the final result, she posted 15 points. That was a full 55.6% of the Eagles' points, marking the sixth time in a row Pierre has scored more than a third of the team's points. Daniyah Glover was another key player, putting up five points and five boards.

Ackari Edmond produced another solid effort dropping a double-double with 16 points and 17 rebounds for Royal Palm Beach. Edmond is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Aria Junious, who had ten points.

Atlantic's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Royal Palm Beach, their win bumped their record up to 11-4.

Atlantic has already played their next contest, a 27-24 defeat against Dr. Joaquin Garcia on the 13th. As for Royal Palm Beach, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 61-7 victory against Dreyfoos School of the Arts on the 13th.
