Volleyball Recap: Hagerty Huskies vs. Winter Springs Bears
Hagerty was the 3-2 winner over Winter Springs when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Hagerty Huskies took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Winter Springs Bears on Tuesday.
The final score came out to 25-19, 25-20, 24-26, 25-15.
Kellen Woolm paced Hagerty's offense, picking up 15 kills. Woolm got some help from Caden Houston and his 19 assists. Gabe Davis controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Hagerty's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-4. As for Winter Springs, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-4.
Coming up, Hagerty will welcome East River at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Winter Springs, they will venture away from home to square off against Lake Brantley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lake Brantley will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Winter Springs surely won't give up without a fight.
