Basketball Game Preview: Wendover Wildcats vs. Manila Mustangs

The Wendover Wildcats will square off against the Manila Mustangs at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Wendover has given up an average of 56 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.

Wendover is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They beat Green River by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 68-57. The victory was familiar territory for the Wildcats, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Meanwhile, Manila beat Altamont 47-36 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Wendover's win bumped their record up to 11-17. As for Manila, the victory got them back to even at 14-14.

Wendover came up short against Manila when the teams last played two weeks ago, falling 50-46. Can Wendover avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
