Football Game Preview: New Oxford Colonials vs. Warwick Warriors

The New Oxford Colonials will challenge the Warwick Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with New Oxford sitting on eight straight victories and Warwick on four.

On Friday, New Oxford beat West York Area 14-7.

New Oxford got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Alex Brown out in front who rushed for 158 yards while picking up 8.3 yards per carry. Those 158 rushing yards gave Brown a new career-high. Brody Holmes was another key pass catcher, picking up 112 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Warwick got themselves on the board against Conrad Weiser on Friday, but Conrad Weiser never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Scouts with a sharp 20-0 victory. Considering the Warriors have won five contests by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Warwick's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for New Oxford, their victory bumped their record up to 8-0.

Everything went New Oxford's way against Warwick when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as New Oxford made off with a 30-7 win. Do the Colonials have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
