Baseball Recap: Putnam Comes Up Short

Putnam was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ledyard Colonels. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Colonels this season, with their most recent loss being a 6-1 defeat last Monday.

Carter Murowski made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Nick Devlin, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Putnam's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Ledyard, their record now sits at 8-14.

As of now, neither Putnam nor the Colonels have any future games scheduled.
