Basketball Recap: Clements Takes a Loss

Clements pushed their score to 79 the last time they played East Lawrence, but on Monday they couldn't quite do it again. The Clements Colts were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 1-0 to the East Lawrence Eagles. The game marked the first time this season in which the Colts were not able to get on the board.

Clements' loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 5-7. As for East Lawrence, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clements won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Rogers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Lawrence, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll square off against Ardmore at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
