Salem Academy Charter took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Navigator won by a set and slipped past the Panthers 3-2. The victory was familiar territory for the Navigator, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Salem Academy Charter was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-20, 20-25, 26-24, 15-13.

Christian Quezada paced Salem Academy Charter's offense, picking up 18 kills. Quezada got some help from Joshua Cayco and his 36 assists. Finally, Quezada was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Salem Academy Charter's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Salem Academy Charter will challenge Excel Academy Charter at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate, they will head out to square off against Lowell Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
