Basketball Recap: Burrton Comes Up Short

Burrton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They were beaten by the Argonia Raiders 73-39. The Chargers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Raiders from their previous meeting back in January of 2023.

Burrton's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for Argonia, their victory bumped their record up to 5-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Burrton will head out to square off against Central Christian on Thursday. As for Argonia, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Central at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Central will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Argonia surely won't give up without a fight.
