Red Rock Central was led to victory by Jayden Lang and Isaac Simonson. Lang scored 20 points along with nine assists and five rebounds, while Simonson dropped a double-double on 29 points and 14 rebounds. Simonson is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Ashton Holmen was another key contributor, scoring six points along with ten assists and six rebounds.
Red Rock Central's win bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Adrian/Ellsworth, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-12.
Red Rock Central will head out on the road to take on Cedar Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Cedar Mountain's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matchups. As for Adrian/Ellsworth, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Westbrook-Walnut Grove at 7:30 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Minnesota (Westbrook-Walnut Grove is ranked 393rd, while Adrian/Ellsworth is ranked 382nd).
