It was a good run, but Spectrum unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost 6-0 to the Legacy Christian Academy Lions. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Sting were not able to get on the board.

Spectrum's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 9-2. As for Legacy Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 11-4.

Spectrum and Legacy Christian Academy should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Minnesota Rankings. The Sting will face off against West Lutheran at 4:30 p.m. on Monday with a big rank advantage (115 vs. 308). Meanwhile, Legacy Christian Academy (ranked 128th) will meet St. Paul Academy-Summit (ranked 307th) at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
