Recap: Northern Huskies vs. Rockwood Rockets
The Northern Huskies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 22 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Rockwood 66-27 at home. That 66-27 margin sets a new team best for Northern this season.
Despite the loss, Rockwood had strong showings from Zander Ritenour, who scored 12 points, and Joshua Wagner, who scored six points. Ritenour scored a full 44.4% of Rockwood's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
The win got Northern back to even at 4-4. As for Rockwood, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northern will square off against Fort Hill at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Rockwood, they will head out on the road to face off against Berlin Brothersvalley at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Berlin Brothersvalley's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
