Softball Recap: Wyoming East Takes a Loss

Wyoming East lost against Liberty on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Warriors lost 9-2 to the Raiders. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Carli Raye spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and five unearned) runs on six hits.

On the hitting side, Alivia Monroe was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run. She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last three games she's played.

Wyoming East's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Liberty, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Wyoming East nor Liberty have any future games scheduled.
