Basketball Game Preview: Clear Lake Warriors vs. Frederic Vikings

Clear Lake is 9-1 against Frederic since December of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Clear Lake Warriors will take on the Frederic Vikings at 5:45 p.m. Frederic took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Clear Lake, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, Clear Lake strolled past Siren with points to spare, taking the game 58-39. That's two games straight that the Warriors have won by exactly 19 points.

Meanwhile, Frederic scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 55-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Northwood. The Vikings just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row.

The victory made it two in a row for Clear Lake and bumps their season record up to 15-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.0 points over those games. As for Frederic, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-20.

Everything came up roses for Clear Lake against Frederic when the teams last played back in January, as the team secured a 64-35 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Clear Lake since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
