Baseball Recap: Bedford Takes a Loss

Bedford was the 6-1 winner over Central Cambria when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Bisons took an 8-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Red Devils on Monday. Bisons fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Red Devils since on Monday.

Bedford saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aspen Anderson, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Bedford's record is now 11-8. As for Central Cambria, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Bedford will face off against Kiski Area at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Central Cambria does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
