Volleyball Recap: Roosevelt's Undefeated Season over After Eight Games

Roosevelt lost against Lincoln Park back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Rough Riders fell 2-0 to the Lions. The match marked the first time this year in which the Rough Riders were not able to get on the board.

While Roosevelt had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-19.

Having lost for the first time this season, Roosevelt fell to 7-1. As for Lincoln Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.

Roosevelt didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Rickover Naval on the 25th. As for Lincoln Park, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Prosser on the 25th.
