Evan Vessey Game Report: vs Piedmont Hills

For the first time in his career, Evan Vessey tossed a passing touchdown on Friday. He threw for 234 yards and a pair of touchdowns as Monte Vista Christian fell to Piedmont Hills 28-27. We judged Friday's matchup Vessey's most productive, but we don't think it'll stay that way for long.

Vessey and Monte Vista Christian will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Carlmont at 6:00 p.m. on the 13th. Vessey had to take a defeat the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their contest back in September of 2024 48-28.
