Softball Recap: Marion Takes a Loss

Marion fell victim to Green Sea Floyds and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 2-0. The Swamp Foxes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

The defeat snapped Marion's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-4 record. As for Green Sea Floyds, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marion will face off against Manning at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Green Sea Floyds, they will challenge Carvers Bay at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
