Baseball Recap: Culleoka Takes a Loss

Culleoka was the 18-8 winner over Santa Fe when they last played one another back in April of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors lost 11-1 to the Wildcats on Tuesday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Culleoka saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Coltin Butler, who scored a run while going 3-for-3. That run marked the first that Butler scored this season.

Culleoka's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-8. As for Santa Fe, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-7.

While Culleoka had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
