Baseball Recap: Burlington Christian Academy Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Grace Christian, Burlington Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the North Raleigh Christian Academy Knights.

Will Grubb spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on five hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Lofton Gonzalez, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one double. Davis Philips was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Burlington Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for North Raleigh Christian Academy, their defeat ended a 14-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-2.
