North Bend Central extends home winning streak to four

Recap: North Bend Central Tigers vs. Clarkson/Leigh Patriots

The North Bend Central Tigers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 69-44 margin over Clarkson/Leigh. The win was nothing new for North Bend Central as they're now sitting on five straight.

Despite the loss, Clarkson/Leigh saw an underclassman step up: Kyle McMullin scored 11 points along with five rebounds. Korbin Lemburg was another key contributor, scoring seven points.

Even though they lost, Clarkson/Leigh were working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. This was only their seventh loss (out of seven games) when they've passed the ball that well.

North Bend Central pushed their record up to 7-3 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for Clarkson/Leigh, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.

North Bend Central will head out on the road to face off against Arlington on Tuesday. As for Clarkson/Leigh, they will be playing at home against Tekamah-Herman at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
