Wimberley had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Stockdale Brahmas.

Wimberley not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Stockdale between 14 and 16 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-16.

Wimberley's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Carson Peoples, who had 11 assists and two aces. Another player making a difference was Skylar Herring, who had 13 assists.

Wimberley's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Stockdale, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Coming up, Wimberley will play host again on Saturday to welcome Liberty Christian, where the match is scheduled at 11:00 a.m. As for Stockdale, they will take on Jourdanton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
