Soccer Game Preview: Norcross vs. Dacula

The Norcross Blue Devils will square off against the Dacula Falcons at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Norcross is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Pinecrest Academy just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell 3-1 to the Paladins. While losing is never fun, Norcross can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 57th, while Pinecrest Academy are ranked eighth).

Norcross' goal came courtesy of Macie Rogers, which was the first she's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Dacula's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hebron Christian on Tuesday. Dacula have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dacula now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Norcross, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.
