Basketball Recap: Crawford County Eagles vs. Central Hawks
Crawford County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 33-28 heartbreaker at the hands of the Central Hawks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 48-41 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2022.
Crawford County lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Kamarli McGuire, who posted 12 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. McGuire is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Mikayla Ivey, who put up four points in addition to nine boards and three steals.
