Softball Recap: Lone Peak Takes a Loss

If Lone Peak was riding high fresh off their 26-6 takedown of Corner Canyon on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Knights came up short against the Skyridge Falcons on Tuesday, falling 17-1. The loss continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost eight in a row.

Lone Peak saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Clara Gourley, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double. Ainsley Erickson also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Lone Peak's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Skyridge, their record is now 13-15.

As of now, neither Lone Peak nor the Falcons have any future games scheduled.
