Football Recap: North Summit Comes Up Short

North Summit was the 20-0 winner over South Summit when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Braves were beaten by the Wildcats 42-13 on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 35 points in the game before, the Braves couldn't push the score so high this time.

Ian Mair was nothing short of spectacular for South Summit: he threw for 340 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.3 yards per attempt, and also punched in one TD on the ground.

North Summit's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for South Summit, the win also got them back to even at 1-1.

North Summit didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 20-13 defeat against Rich on the 29th. As for South Summit, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 29-21 loss against Juab on the 29th.
