Baseball Recap: Lake Catholic Takes a Loss

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last six times Lake Catholic and Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Monday. The Cougars fell just short of the Lions by a score of 5-3. The Cougars were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lions from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Lake Catholic saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Patrick Radigan, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles.

Lake Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 16-4. As for Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin, their record is now 11-3.

While Lake Catholic had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
