Ridgedale has gone  a perfect 3-0 against Berne Union recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Wednesday. Ridgedale will challenge Berne Union at 5:00  p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Ridgedale barely beat Elgin the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rockets were the clear victors by  a  10-1 margin over the Comets on Monday. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for the Rockets.

 Kenzie Delaney was a  major factor no matter where she played. She  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out 16 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  tossed less than seven  strikeouts any time she's  pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances with one  home run and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Jillian Slaughterbeck, who  went a perfect 4-for-4 with one  triple, one  stolen base,  and one  run. Those  four  hits gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Alexis Burton, who  went 1-for-4 with one  home run and four  RBI.
 Ridgedale  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Elgin didn't  got any hits.
Meanwhile, Berne Union got the win against Delaware Christian  on Monday by a conclusive  15-5. The Rockets haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive  victory against them.
Like Ridgedale, Berne Union also got a great game from a two-way player:  Reese Besco. She looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing six innings while giving up  three earned  (and two unearned) runs off   eight  hits. Besco was even better at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  double.
 In other batting news,  Josilyn Hedges was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with one  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Cloe Hatzer, who  went 1-for-4 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
 Ridgedale's record is now 10-6. As for Berne Union, their record now sits at 14-10.
Berne Union's hitters will have their work cut out for them  on Wednesday. Ridgedale has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 11.4  strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Berne Union, though, as  they've been averaging  only 3.5  strikeouts. Will Ridgedale keep running through batters, or will Berne Union buck the trend?
 Ridgedale took their  win against Berne Union  when the teams last played  back in May of 2024 by a conclusive  12-2 score. Will Ridgedale repeat their success,  or does  Berne Union has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
