Baseball Recap: Moffat County Comes Up Short

Moffat County managed to slip by Steamboat Springs the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bulldogs lost 17-3 to the Sailors on Thursday.

Tanner Musgrave made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Zach Winder also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Moffat County's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Steamboat Springs, the win snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 3-8 record.

Moffat County wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 11-1 defeat against Grand Valley on the 4th. As for Steamboat Springs, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-2 loss against Glenwood Springs on the 11th.
