Baseball Recap: Mingus Marauders vs. Lee Williams Volunteers

Mingus has not done well against Lee Williams recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Mingus Marauders blew past the Lee Williams Volunteers 11-4. This was a revenge game for Mingus, as the team was forced to settle for a 6-5 loss when these two played on Monday.

Xzayvier Buckner made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 11 batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. Buckner was also big at the plate, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with a home run, three runs, and three RBI.
