Recap: Cass Tech Technicians vs. Romulus Eagles
On Saturday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Cass Tech beat Romulus 57-51.
Despite the loss, Romulus still got an impressive performance from Karma Jones-Johnson, who scored 21 points along with five assists and five rebounds. The game was Jones-Johnson's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Sa'Ryah Roberts, who scored eight points.
Cass Tech has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for Romulus, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.
Cass Tech's road trip will continue as they head out to face East Kentwood at 3:00 p.m. on January 6th. Romulus will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Robichaud at 7:00 p.m. on January 9th. Robichaud comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 20 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
