Volleyball Recap: Troup County Starts Season with Loss at Home

Troup County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the LaGrange Grangers by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Grangers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Troup County sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-12, 17-25, 15-9.

LaGrange now has a winning record of 2-1.

Troup County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Shaw on the 12th. As for LaGrange, they will venture away from home to square off against Carrollton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
