After losing to Monticello the last time they met, Mt. Pulaski decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Hilltoppers skirted past the Sages 2-1.
Elayna Marten paced Mt. Pulaski's offense, picking up 12 kills. Marten got some help from Alyson Murphy and her 21 assists. Marten was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.
