Basketball Recap: Flagler Palm Coast Takes a Loss

Flagler Palm Coast suffered their biggest defeat since February 5th on Thursday. They were outmatched by the DeLand Bulldogs and fell 55-25. The game marked Flagler Palm Coast's lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Flagler Palm Coast's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Ava Works, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine boards, and Kierra Clark, who posted nine points in addition to five boards and four steals.

This is the second loss in a row for Flagler Palm Coast and nudges their season record down to 8-2. As for DeLand, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Rockledge the next time they take the court. DeLand will head out to face Rockledge at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Flagler Palm Coast will head out to face them at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
