Basketball Recap: NFL Yet Academy Takes a Loss

NFL Yet Academy played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Tempe Buffaloes and fell 80-43. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-20.

Nassir Cobbs continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Tempe, putting up 30 points and three steals. The contest was Cobbs' fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Josiah Criss, who posted 16 points and three steals.

This is the second loss in a row for NFL Yet Academy and nudges their season record down to 2-3. As for Tempe, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

NFL Yet Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 88-49 defeat against Walden Grove on the 28th. As for Tempe, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 61-52 loss against Casa Grande on the 27th.
