Basketball Recap: Iroquois Now 5-1 over Last Six Games

Corry came into Thursday's match looking for another win against Iroquois, but Kellen Burroughs wouldn't allow it. The Iroquois Braves came out on top against the Corry Beavers by a score of 54-44 on Thursday thanks to Burroughs, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 12 boards. Iroquois is 7-2 when Burroughs posts ten or more rebounds, but 3-11 otherwise.

Another player making a difference was Orlando Brown, who posted ten points. That's the most points he has posted since back in March of 2024.

Iroquois is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-13 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.5 points over those games.
